Bessie won Ian's heart about 3 years ago when she found herself injured and alone. She sought refuge on his front lawn. Ian took her in, fixed her up and she hasn't left his side since. Even to go as far as travelling in the passenger seat of his ute, truck and tractor. A beautiful friendship.
